The Golf Club at Briar's Creek
An integral part of the Briar's Creek experience is
the way golf and the natural environment complement
each other. There is no shortage of water, marshes,
wetlands and wildlife, along with the occasional bunker,
rough, and gently rolling, but quick putting surface.
Set on more than 800 acres of scenic Johns Island,
this exclusive family retreat provides an unhurried
lifestyle and world-class golf with no tee times.
Precisely designed and skillfully maintained, this Rees Jones masterpiece embraces the rich, Lowcountry landscape and vegetation of Johns Island and the Kiawah River. Multiple tee boxes offer dramatic shots around, across and along unspoiled marsh and riverside vistas, creating a spirited, scenic challenge for golfers of every level.
At the heart of the course and private golf community is our 13,000-square-foot clubhouse overlooking Briar's Creek and the Kiawah River. Inside, members and guests can enjoy mingling in the Rees Jones Pub or eating in our spacious dining room overlooking Briar's Creek and the Kiawah River. The celebrated Chef features local ingredients on an ever changing menu that keeps our fare exciting and fresh. There are wide porches with outside seating areas overlooking the event peninsula, a fishing and boating dock, and our 19th hole, which is a 50-yard golf hole designed for settling matches, practicing your short game or for just having fun after a day on the course. The well-appointed locker rooms and pro shop cater to our golfers' every need.
